![]() ![]() The fourth goal is to act as a coordinator of the project to recruit data, to organize a workshop/conference and to build a community of data sharing and interaction across vast cultural spectrum of participating scientists. The third goal is to use these data in synthesis activities that improve our understanding on how climate, weather, ecological, physiological and soil factors govern the exchange of carbon, water and energy between vegetation and the atmosphere at multiple time and space scales. A second goal is to build the next-generation, data-system that will house, distribute and query data and discover new information by the broader biogeoscience user community. The production of the next FLUXNET database is critical to the activities of this ROSE’s solicitation because these data will drive many of the carbon cycle synthesis activities and the model parameterization and validation activities. This will be an integrated dataset on carbon, water and energy fluxes, on meteorological conditions and on the structure and function of the ecosystems we have to potential to construct a new database, double the size of the La Thuile dataset, with over 2000 site-years of trace gas flux measurements, and supporting meteorological and site more » meta-data from over 400 sites world-wide. One goal is to produce the next-generation FLUXNET dataset. We propose a project that will extend and expand the activities and contributions of AmeriFlux, to the global stage by working with our international partners to continue operating and expand the functioning of global FLUXNET database. In addition, this information is also used to develop and validate ecosystem = , FLUXNET provides access to ground information for validating estimates of net primary productivity, and energy absorption that are being generated by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensors. Information compiled by the FLUXNET project is being used to validate remote sensing products associated with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Terra and Aqua satellites. FLUXNET provides an infrastructure for the synthesis and analysis of world-wide, long-term flux data compiled from various regional flux networks. FLUXNET’S goals are to aid in understanding the mechanisms controlling the exchanges of CO 2, water vapor, and energy across a range of time (0.5 hours to annual periods) and space scales. The flux tower sites use eddy covariance methods to measure the exchanges of carbon dioxide (CO 2), water vapor, and energy between terrestrial ecosystems and the atmosphere. Just providing additional information as this seems to effect more than just the 'pipes' mod.FLUXNET is a “network of regional networks” created by international scientists to coordinate regional and global analysis of observations from micrometeorological tower sites. Nor is it your obligation to change your mod so that it works with specific modpacks etc. ![]() Note to the mod author: I fully realize you may keep the current flux plug functionality, and this may never work again. So far I haven't had any compatibility issues with FTB Revelations 3.50 but do be sure to backup your saves folks. To that end I've temporarily solved this by downgrading to fluxnetworks-1.12.2-3.0.19-21. I imagine this isn't a huge priority, I just want to add some info and perhaps act as a lighthouse for any FTB Revelations players wondering why they suddenly don't have power. I've seen some posts on reddit wondering why it's suddenly broken, I decided to look for the source of the issue and found that it was the update to flux networks. Usually I wouldn't care too too much but I know this effects players who've just updated to FTB Revelations 3.5.0, since a number of people who play that pack have been using this method of power generation. Energy Bees housed in said blocks could then transfer their power to the plug. It used to be possible(FluxNetworks 1.12.2-3.0.19-21) to connect a flux plug up to an Alveary (Forestry), Apiary (Forestry), Industrial Apiary(Gendustry) etc. I believe this is also effecting the Energy Bee from the 'Career Bees' mod. ![]()
